When Vanessa Little realized that Avon Lake had no true tanning salon, she immediately recognized opportunity. There were, of course, tanning beds located in local hair salons, but Vanessa felt the community could benefit from a company fully dedicated to educating consumers not only about the cosmetic benefits of tanning, but the health benefits of exposing your skin to sunshine as well. We met with Vanessa recently, and listened as she provided this overview of the services Chameleon Tanning provides;

Chameleon Tanning was founded in February 2005 to provide complete tanning services to the Avon Lake community. We offer a wide range of packages, including session packages, unlimited packages, and student packages, in addition to a complete line of indoor tanning lotions. We promote tanning as an excellent method for providing your body with the Vitamin D it needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

We are an exceptionally clean tanning salon, and use cleaners and disinfecting agents of only the highest quality. Our nine tanning beds are all commercial grade Sol LUX beds made in the United States. We offer four levels of tanning ranging from twelve minute to twenty minute sessions. We work completely on a walk-in basis, so you can stop in whenever it is convenient for you.

At Chameleon Tanning we believe in educating our customers on the proper, safe way to acquire a gorgeous tan. Your skin is your body's largest organ and, as such, you should take greater care to get proper sun exposure. We encourage you to ask questions about your skin, and we offer information that empowers you to provide your skin with the care it needs.
