Dale's T.V. Service

As a young man, Mike Lime always enjoyed learning how things worked. His father told him that electronics was going to be the wave of the future, so Mike decided to earn an Associates Degree in Electronics. He began working at Dale's T.V. Service, founded in 1969 at Walker Road and Route 83, and purchased the business in 1984. We visited with Mike recently, and listened as he described the services his repair shop offers;

Dale's T.V. Service specializes in consumer electronics repair, including the repair of televisions, cameras, DVD and CD players, and turntables. We handle connection and printed circuit board repairs, and the repair of new formats, such as DLP, LCD, and plasma. We provide drop-off service in our shop, pick-up and delivery, and place service calls in Avon, Avon Lake, Amherst, Bay Village, Elyria, Lorain, North Ridgeville, Sheffield and Sheffield Lake, Vermillion, and Westlake.

We are an old-fashioned business and take pride in the personal attention we provide to each customer. When a customer needs a service call, we can usually be there within twenty-four hours and we strive to be on time and never keep a customer waiting.

Most of our customers bring their items into the shop to be repaired, but we do offer pick-up and delivery service for larger items. When we place a service call, we typically troubleshoot the problem in the home, pull the faulty section, and bring it back to the shop to be rebuilt. After the repairs are completed, we then take the repaired section back and reinstall it, saving the expense and hassle associated with moving larger pieces of equipment.
