Janel Smith has loved animals ever since she was a young girl. After graduating from grooming school, Janel founded Four Legged Fashions on Lear Road in Avon Lake in April 2002. We visited with Janel recently, and listened as she provided this overview of the services Four Legged Fashions offers;

Four Legged Fashions specializes in professional pet grooming of dogs of all sizes and descriptions. We offer full trim-ups, custom cuts, baths, nail cuts, flea baths, and de-skunking. We focus on the comfort of our dogs and their owners by having them served by the same groomer each time they visit.

As a small shop we can give your pet the individualized attention they deserve. We work by appointment only so you can bring your dog to our shop in the morning and they will be ready to go home between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. They do not become stressed by staying in a crate all day, and their familiarity with our staff ensures they remain calm and comfortable at all times.

We are frequently asked to work with dogs that have previously misbehaved for other groomers. By treating these pets with love and kindness, we usually find that by their second or third session at Four Legged Fashions they have relaxed and even look forward to visiting us again.
