Working as a Medical Technologist in a hospital laboratory, André L. Montgomery, D.C. was plagued with chronic back pain resulting from an injury sustained as a college basketball player. Pain medication and muscle relaxers offered little relief so his wife suggested he set an appointment with her chiropractor. Within two weeks of his initial visit, André felt so much better he was back on the basketball court for the first time in years.

Realizing that approximately 80% of all Americans experience similar back pain during their lifetime, André decided to obtain his Chiropractic degree. After graduation he spent several years in a group practice in Strongsville, and on August 30, 2004 founded Montgomery Chiropractic Center in Avon Lake, Ohio. Montgomery Chiropractic Center specializes in non-surgical conservative treatment and rehabilitation for acute and chronic spine pain, as well as sports related injuries affecting the shoulder, hip, and knee. I am one of the team physicians for Brookside High School's athletic department, and we are a provider for Cleveland Clinic Health Systems and Primary Care of Northern Ohio in partnership with Community Health Partners.
