Sam's Automatic Door Inc. was founded on Cleveland's east side in 1985 by Sam Andelmo. His cousin Henry joined the company in 1998, and soon after was placed in charge of day-to-day operations. When Sam and Henry agreed two years later that Henry would open his own company to handle their customers on the west side of Cleveland, the west side operation became known as Sam's Garage Door Service West. As an independent dealer, we sell, service, and repair all brands of garage doors and openers, including Genie, Anderson, Amaar, and Liftmaster. We specialize in replacing faulty transmitters and broken springs, and pride ourselves on our rock-bottom prices.
When a customer calls, I always try to solve the problem over the telephone if I can. Many times an inoperable garage door may be caused simply by sensors that need reset. Some openers have a button to reset the sensor, others are reset by unplugging them for five minutes and then plugging them back in again. I would rather solve the problem for them over the telephone without the expense of a service call, so they remember the great service I provide when they are faced with larger issues.
