Ed Cook has forty years experience as an electrician, including ten years as an Industrial Electrician for General Electric and four years as an electrician in the U.S. Navy. Three courses short of an engineering degree, Ed founded Ed Cook Electric, Inc. in 1988 to provide the Northeast Ohio community with a source for electrical construction and repair services featuring excellent workmanship and unimpeachable integrity at reasonable prices. We visited with Ed recently, and listened as he described the services Ed Cook Electric, Inc. provides;
Ed Cook Electric, Inc. specializes in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical construction and repair services. I handle anything having to do with electrical services, including service upgrades, wiring additions, and troubleshooting circuits that are blowing fuses or tripping circuit breakers. For regular customers who are buying a new home, I will provide them with a free consultation to let them know what it would take to bring the home up to present day codes, or if it already is.
I am a firm believer in following through on my commitments. I answer my phone anytime it rings, whether it is late at night or early in the morning. If I am out of town, I take my cell phone with me, and if someone calls and gets my voice mail, I always call them back.
I do all my work in strict accordance with the National Electric Codes. Over the years my reputation for quality and dependability have been the key to my success. I warranty my work for a full year, including both parts and labor. If a part goes bad during the first year, I will take it back and replace it for free without any type of service charge whatsoever.
Ed Cook Electric, Inc. is a small company and I strive to build strong personal relationships with my customers. Over the years many of my customers have become friends. I know the names of their grandchildren, their dogs and their cats. I feel like I am part of their family and they are part of mine. They have been very loyal to me and I have been very loyal to them. It has been a win-win for everyone.
When you see me giving a bid, you are also seeing the person that will actually be doing the work. I do use a helper or two, depending on the size of the job, but I never send unsupervised or unqualified people on a job. I do not just send in a couple employees and hope the work gets done right, I am there myself to make sure it is done right the first time, every time.
